John offers years of sales and service experience in Vermont - from running his own residential painting company while attending UVM, to a top sales performer for a local television station. He has a passion for working with others, understanding their objectives, and bringing together resources to help clients succeed. One of John’s strengths is knowing that achievements rarely happen in isolation. When it comes to the home buying and selling process, it takes many talented individuals to ensure a smooth transaction. John works diligently to orchestrate the collaboration of those individuals towards one ultimate goal. Working alongside his brother George, the two bring an aspect of family to their real estate business. Deciding to both join the Real Estate industry at the same time, the opportunity to work as a team was a clear and exciting choice. Together they bring a strong background in sales, negotiations, education and training, and an exceptional service record.

After seven years in the hospitality industry training and installing software around the world, George took the dive into a career in real estate alongside his younger brother, John, forming the Black Brothers Team. The fourth of six kids, George is comfortable juggling many people and tasks. Often referred to as the "fixer," he has the ability to take break down complex projects into manageable tasks. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, or you are seasoned in the luxury market, his process is the same: starting with a clearly defined plan of action, while being quick to react to changes and adjust accordingly. One thing he has learned in this journey is there is always something new to learn for all parties involved. The mantra he lives and works by is "Together we will get through this, we always do - and let's not forget to have fun along the way!" George grew up in Lamoille county, attended Stowe High School and graduated from Johnson State College. He is now a proud homeowner in South Burlington and when not working enjoys taking in Vermont’s beauty throughout all four seasons; hiking, skiing, & biking.
